When I first started coaching with April I had no idea what to expect, nor did I realize how much there was to learn. Through the coaching process, I have been able to see the mistakes I have made in my leadership journey and I know now how to avoid them and how to find alternate approaches. I have made significant progress. April was instrumental in providing me with a sounding board for strategic decision-making. She also helped me identify skills I didn’t know I had.

Not only did April help me with my skills and confidence as a leader but she helped me tremendously with English as well. Since I am not a native speaker that is of huge importance to me for the job I do. One aspect of our work together involved reading and discussing articles April gave me that were relevant to my specific business challenges. Those discussion sessions helped me so much, both in learning more about my own leadership style and in gaining more confidence to converse in English.  

What I found extremely important is not only the fact that she is well-experienced in business coaching, but she also is really focused on the coachee. I can see that she puts a lot of effort into empowering her coachees. I feel completely free and confident to talk about anything, no hesitations at all. I also found a better balance between my work and home life – something I failed to recognize as a problem for years. I work for a large pharmaceutical company and the skills I developed while working with April have made me a more effective leader.

April is the best listener I’ve met and even though in some situations my approach to something might not have been the best choice, she would never judge me, just challenge me to go deeper and consider other options. As I look back over the time that we have worked together, I have really come to appreciate how much I have gained from working with her. 

I enjoy working with April because she is an aspirational, passionate and extremely dedicated coach. She really stands out from others due to her focus, deep understanding, and ability to build empathy with her clients. She has a strong coaching background, enriched also with her real-life experience within corporate environments. She takes a no-nonsense approach, but is warm and easy to talk to. She is authentic, non-judgmental, a great listener, and is respectful of my experiences and feelings.  April is good at keeping us focused during sessions but at the same time she’s flexible and able to adapt to my needs. I work with April for my professional life but the insights I discover in my sessions with her impact my personal life as well. I believe I have developed important targeted skills and competencies since I began working with April, and she helped greatly, supporting and following-up with me in order to achieve that.

My coaching sessions with April were incredibly helpful and insightful. April is an incredible listener and in a relatively short time frame she succeeded in helping me understand (and articulate) the challenges in my professional environment, and more importantly, the drivers of those dynamics. April was not afraid to challenge my mindset and encouraged me to question my own assumptions and views. Her probing questions allowed me to accurately frame my managerial cross-border challenges, and with her guidance, put in place a plan / mindset to address and overcome them in a manner that would allow me to succeed and progress in my career. April has since become a trusted mentor and coach and is someone I would highly recommend to anyone looking for help to address a particular challenge or simply look for help on how to more effectively navigate the complex world of management.

I worked with April on several issues related to my professional life and also to improve my English speaking skills. English is not my native language and it really helped me to work with a native English speaker. For each coaching session, we made concrete plans so our work together was well-organized.

From my point of view, April has a very nonjudgmental approach. Whenever I made mistakes in English, she was very gentle in correcting me and ensured that it was a part of the learning cycle. After the fifth session, I noticed that I had more self-confidence when I speak English. April is an attentive listener also and helped me address some challenging work situations.

Working with April was an extraordinary experience. Her supportive and interactive style helped lead me to improvements in my English and her experience as a coach helped me to have more confidence and be more effective in my work environment.

Professional careers are like F1 racings. It requires a good strategy well before the start, an excellent execution throughout the circuit, deal with the issues as and when they arise, but most importantly, know when to do the pit stops, recharge fuel, change the tires, and continue with the race. April has been a critical support at one of these pit stops. It helped me to look back, review what went well and not so well, and fundamentally to capitalise on the lessons learned and reactivate the levers of my strengths. April is a good listener and, along with her vast experience, will challenge you with the right question at the right time. I had no experience with an Executive Coach prior to April and was unsure of what to expect.
